Last version of Total commander 7.2
PSI 2.0 didnīt recognize an new version to download
I download now the 7.5.5.1 manually


shouldn't PSI recognize any new version of any program?

PSI is a vulnerability checker not a general updater.

If the previous version was secure PSI will not notify U to update.

PSI checks for vulnerabilities and not updates per se.

Therefore it will only notify program updates if it is a security fix to an existing vulnerability of the same program, installed on your PC.

If the update is issued by the vendor for purely "cosmetic" reasons, then PSI wont inform you to this - there are other programs for that purpose.
