I tried to do a System Restore this morning and I got this error message. System Restore has been turned off by Group Policy. To turn on System Restore, contact your domain administator Everything I've tried won't let me do a S. Restore. Thanks in advance Nancy |

I am sorry I used ttt in my reply. My post was getting lost here and I just wanted to put it 'To The Top" so I could get some help. I belong to many forums and everyone uses 'ttt' when they aren't getting any help or replies. Again I am sorry.:( From now on I will be more careful in my posts Thank You for clearing this up for me. |

Hello Nancy , Not to worry , I think the problem was that you changed your user name and just had "ttt" in your post ; I personally have not come across that , but then again I'm not into many Forums and such . We see some bizarre posting here so yours was misconstrued -at laest by me !! I did not vote on your ttt ; but do have enough to rectify that for you here . I cannot help with your Question as I don't have Vista and any limited technical knowledge I have is for XP . Let me clear up some confusion . Quiggly and nancym are the same person. ME! I am quiggley on my desktop and nancym on laptop. I can't be the same name on both computers. I didn't realize I posted the ttt from laptop. Sorry for all the confusion on my 'confused' thread. I'll go to my corner now and cry. :( |

Thank you for your understanding. I will probably be using laptop/nancym to post here. Lost pw for the desktop/quiggley, tried to 'retreive' it but all it gives me is a page to register and holy cow yinz don't need another me in here. I've caused enough trouble. nancym/quiggley. ;-) |
