After a system crash I, reinstalled PSI Beta. Now, my scanner (PSI) is not working (waiting for 8 hours). Working with OSI all is working fine.

What's wrong?

Best Regards

It's a Secunia server problem and not a problem on your PC. So you just have to wait until Secunia get their server running again.

By coincidence with your recovery, Secunia's servers are down.

Nobody's PSI is working at the moment.

Even non-scanning ones have 'lost' all their program details, and won't get them back until making another manual scan when Secunia's servers are working again, whenever that will be.

I get the feeling Secunia isn't a 24/7 operation, so you may need to wait until somebody gets in tomorrow morning and winds up the rubber band again.

Secunia work normal business hours ( 9 to 5 CET ) on the PSI for 5 days a week . The data from your last should still be on the server and will likely be restored to you when the servers are back up ; if not the system will be rescanned at start up .

Patience is a virtue :))

How were you waiting, exactly?

Did you start a scan and it sat there for 8 hours, or did you wait for PSI to start a scan on its own?

As indeed it should have, but if I were waiting that long, I'd give it a manual kick.

But whatever you do at the moment, you won't be able to tell if you have a PSI that's extra-broken, as even normally-working PSIs are broken at the moment by the server malfunctions.

Thank you for reporting the issue, it should now have been fixed. Please perform another full system scan with the PSI.
