Following the recent problem with Secunia servers, resulting in no displayed information, I read at 09.30 (C.E.T./Zulu +1), that 2.0 beta was again up and running. When I opened my PSI (1.5.0.2), there was no change - still no data. In order to restore my data, it was necessary to fully exit PSI by right clicking tray icon, and then re-launch from Start>All Programs. I hope this helps those who have been experiencing problems, recently, running this version of PSI. TiMow -- Computing is not yet a perfect science - it still requires humans. |

Hi TiMow , There must be different access routes to the servers as late last night -about 0100 hrs CET - I was just on the point of shutting down when the PSI reappeared - sort of by itself - with all my last scan results . I had previously closed all the processes - using Task Manager - and tried to launch from All Programmes with no response - possibly something was trying to connect in the background . Last time , I was one of the last to be able to reconnect , so I did not bother to post as I was confident all would be fixed by this am . Having said that , the servers went down twice in quick succession last time ; fingers crossed for the weekend . Take care Anthony -- It always seems impossible until its done. Nelson Mandela |

Hi Anthony You probably have your own private direct link; - by the looks of it, for the rest of us mortals, this problem was continually reported throughout the night (C.E.T.), from across the pond, and was only rectified, for the majority, once the mainframe had been clunked a couple of times, with a big hammer (the tape had probably jammed up the spools), at about 9.30 - that's when I saw mogs' reply on taffy's thread.
