Secunia continually lists Excel 2007 as an insecure program.

The "fix" through Windows Update doesn't work.

I noticed this too, but looks like it's fixed.

As now showing as: "This installation of Microsoft Office Excel 2007 was detected as being patched."

Your Excel version should be 12.0.6324.5001 .

my version is 12.0.6300.5000
that must be the problem ...

how do I update to the latest version?

Should be offered by Windows/Microsoft Update..

Anyhow, you just need to install this security update:

Thanks. All secure now. Had to repair Office 2007.
