http://download.microsoft.com/download/c/a/8/ca881... For my version of project, PSI tells me to download the following patch http://download.microsoft.com/download/c/a/8/ca881... However when i apply it, the system returns stating "unexpected" version. Any thoughts? |

Do you have the latest service pack for Microsoft Office 2000? You may need it for the installation to succeed. You can get it here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/276367 |

You have probably figured this out by now. Had the same problem as I had not used Project 2000 since loading it on the current computer. Turned out, I never installed SR 1 on the reload as well as at least four other patches and/or security updates. Turns out after checking Office Updates for Project 2000, there are other security updates that I appear not to have uploaded. Those may or may not relate to my current problem described next. Simply updating to SR1 fixed the version message you describe. Still have a problem though. Add/Remove programs says that KB949043 is loaded and applied. However Secunia says that Project 2000 is still not secure, and pressing the download solution button, brings up KB949043. |

My MS Project2000 shows it's Version "9.0.2001.0219 SR-1", yet Secunia keeps seeing Version "9.0.0.8968" and keeps telling me to download KB949043. Every time I do what Secunia says, Project responds that the KB "has already been applied or is included in an update that has already been applied." |
