Hello,
I'm a happy user of Secunia PSI 1.5.0.2

I just upgraded Opera to version 11.00

This makes Opera disappear from the "Secure browsing" tab.

I guess it's just a matter of time, until the search instructions and relations for Opera add-ons will be reflected in Secunias databases.

But just now, if you ditch Chrome and Firefox and get rid of IE, just keeping Opera 11, then you'll have no entry at all under this tab :)

As Opera 11 only left Beta on the 16th and it is the weekend , then it is probable that the staff working on the PSI will not have chance to update all their rules and display modules .

I use the Dev Channel version of the Chrome browser (neither detected nor displayed - outside geears ) , but I understand that the Stable version is/has also been missing from the "secure browsing" display for several days . This has happened before ; you will need to wait until Monday CET , at least , for a Secunia response .

Take care

Anthony

Hi,

Thank you for reporting the problem!

This issue has been resolved, and if you run a full rescan, Opera 11.x should be shown in the Secure Browsing tab.

Dear Emil,

I just did a full scan. Opera 11.00 (and Chrome 8.0.552.224) does not show up in the "Secure browsing" yet.

Perhaps the update still needs time to reach the production environment?

Hi ,

In another thread/post , @TiMow got Chrome to display in the "Secure Browsing" tab by exiting with/from the tray icon and restarting from "All Programmes" ; he did not need/do a rescan .

Try that .

Hi,

Try following Anthony's suggestion.

Both Opera 11.x and Google Chrome 8.x should be showing up in Secure Browsing. Is this the case?

Yep. Closing the Secunia PSI process and then restarting it made the trick!

Thanks to both of you!
And have a great Christmas!
