I note some strange spelling errors on the site... (e.g. loosing for losing). I also note that Media Player Classic is listed as a danger. Why? PS: What's OSI? |

PS: What's OSI? I think spelling errors will happen on every page in the internet. Maybe it is easier to send it via the Contact list to the Webmaster that they will be cleaned. Although the MPC must not be installed Secunia PSI is able to scan files which are located on your hard disc. Therefore you have also the possibility to keep MPC up-to-date. OSI (Online Software Inspector) is like the PSI but the web version, so no need to install it local. -- Together we can reach any star! |

One difference between the OSI (Online Software Inspector) and the PSI (Personal Software Inspector) is how many programs are scanned. The OSI scans about 70 of the most commonly installed programs and the PSI tries to map all programs on your PC without limitations. If one only wants a quick introduction to patching, or doesn't have the option of installing programs, the OSI is a good alternative. Otherwise the PSI will provide added security with its more thorough scanning. |
