PSI describes "chrome" as being insecure. However, the diagnosis is incorrect because I have the beta 10 installed and it is reported as having a version 8.

Hi

By visiting other threads on this forum relating to the issue you have, you see that Secunia PSI don't deal with beta versions like yours or MS-IE9- beta.
Good luck.

PSI has found a previous, stable version which is now insecure. You need to delete this 8.x numbered file.
- PSI 1.5 (Advanced), click [+], on left of it's listing (Insecure tab), then "Open Folder";
- PSI 2.0 click [+] on left under Scan Results, then on folder icon.
In Windows Explorer, you will now be at the file location of Chrome 8.x -- right click and delete, and again from Recycle bin.
