The Adobe Flash (activex) installer takes care to remove older version af the flash activex files (flash.ocx, Flash9f.ocx, etc).

Sadly the PSI applications always use one of them (flash9f.ocx in my case). Because of that, the file cannot be removed, and PSI still tell me to patch it.

PSI should warn the user that PSI has to be stopped during the installation of never Flash ActiveX version (PSI is a browser).

Unless the installation patch expressly states that the application(s) should/can remain active, it is always best to close ALL before installing any update.

I would also suggest that it is also best to always follow an update with a reboot.
