PSI tells me I have 3 end of life programs and two of them had a fix, I applied the fix yet they still show as as end of life on my dashboard, going to add/remove programs shows the updated version not the old end of life versions. How do I remove entries from my dashboard?

by the way I am running Windows 7, 64bit and the three programs I can not remove from the PSI list are

windows xp prefetch
AIM 4x (the version I really have is 7.5)
adobe shockwave (has been updated but still shows as old)

It would be useful if you can specify the installation paths where Secunia has detected these programs.

Adobe Shockwave Player 10.x 1 End-of-Life 10.4.1.31 11.x Install Solution
Detected Instances:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Shockwave 10\SwOnce.dll, version 10.4.1.31

Thanks for asking, the other two items are in a folder that had stuff from an old hard drive in it, however the shockwave player is on my current drive and I have applied the latest download.

following the path(s) for the AIM and prefetch and deleting the folders worked, they no longer show up in the dashboard. Thanks.

Download the Shockwave uninstaller using the link on this page: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates...

Double click the download file to run it. You can then reinstall the latest version of Shockwave if you need it from www.adobe.com
