I have autoupdate but ask first selected.

I looked in my scan results and programs for which auto update works needed to be updated. I clicked on one to start the update.

Firefox (my default browser) opened and a download screen appeared for the update. The only choice was save - no choice to execute directly. So I saved, and then the update did not complete. I eventually went to the saved file and executed it.

What am I doing wrong? Or is there a firefox issue?

It looks like standard Firefox behaviour to me. Firefox does not have a Run option like Internet Explorer.
