1st, when I click those popups, nothing happens. So I clicked the tray icon, PSI got stuck. Shut it down, tried again, and was at 0% instead of my usual 100%.

Ran a scan and 100% again. I didn't need to see the scary message.

Also, why does it still say BETA? Doesn't PSI update itself?

Hello.
The latest version of psi is as you see in my Signature below. If you decide to download it will detect the older version and will remove; with your permission, before installing.
It's worth clearing of temporary files/browser cache, beforehand.
You can download the new version from here :-
(http://secunia.com/PSISetup.exe) psi 2.0 Full Version
There have been some changes/additions to the FAQ's which you can check thro' here :-
http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal... FAQ's

Hope it helps.....regards,

I am having the same issue. At first I was able to run a scan and back to 100%, but that has since gone - my popup was 50some programs removed! I am also using the 2.0 as in the reply signature.

We are running Secunia on a Vista and recently installed on Windows 7 and experience the same on both computers. This is the first issue we have had. Not sure what direction to take.

Please advise.

EDIT: OK, I reran on both and back to 100%. I will continue to monitor and repost if problem persists as I did an initial scan after getting the warning and my score went to 0% and even after rebooting and reran to 0%.

Hello FCUSA .
If you've already had successful use with the latest version....I wouldn't be inclined to go making any changes. It's possibly some temporary server glitch.

Hi Mogs -

I am going to agree with you - some temporary glitch. I believe when I first downloaded, it was the 2.0 version and it was a fool proof install - very impressive. So, we will just wait and see.

Thanks again,

FCUSA
