I noticed that in the latest PSI version, graphs are not showing and only scores of the present and past weeks are displayed.
I read about a similar problem affecting IE9 users, but again I use Chrome.
Even worse, Chrome is not listed in the scanned programs.

Hello.
Are you sure you have the latest release of psi 2.0......as shown in my Signature below ?
Have you checked your settings in IE8 ?
Have you checked thro' the newer FAQ's recently ? There have been additions and changes made.....here :-
http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal... FAQ's
What is your Operating System and what version of Chrome are you using ? psi doesn't monitor Beta/Dev versions.
Hope the foregoing helps.....regards,

Hi,
Thanks for having cared about my thread.
Again, I do not use IE at all; I am a dedicated Chrome user, so I appreciate part 2 of your reply which was helpful since I always run the latest Chrome BETA version. It should then be normal that Chrome is not recognized as a browser since in my case it is a BETA. I had a problem with your suggestion of downloading the so-called latest PSI version since your signature link took me to a complete non-Secunia website which I suspect could be a fake. If a newer PSI version were available, it would be downloadable from the very own PSI website.

We seem to be at cross purposes here. The link in my post was to the newer FAQ's, which include settings. Extract as follows :-
The Secunia PSI is stuck at "Verifying Internet connection..." and won't start. What can I do?
The Secunia PSI needs to be able to connect to Secunia's servers to complete a scan. To make this possible, you may need to change some of your Internet options.

To do this:

Open the control panel
Open Internet Options > Security tab. In Windows7/Vista you may need to click 'Network and Internet' to access the Internet Options
Select the Internet zone and click on the Custom Level button.
In Security Settings, go to the Scripting>Active Scripting option.
Make sure that Active Scripting is enabled (rather than Disabled or Prompted).
Press OK then Yes.
Back in the Security tab, select the Trusted sites zone and click on the Sites button.
Type in the following and press the Add button to add it to the Trusted Sites list:
https://*.secunia.com
Press Close, then OK.
Run the Secunia PSI again to view the scan results.

There is much more in them which you might like to read thro'.
; setting aright, is a requirement to be able to use psi: for it to work properly.

HOW IT WORKS
You can download the latest version of psi from here :-
(http://secunia.com/PSISetup.exe) psi 2.0 Full Version

It's adviseable to clear temp files/browser cache before install....which should detect the previous version and remove, with permission, before. The first scan should start automatically.
I use Chrome dev as my default browser....same situation as with the Beta....tho' you will see an entry for Gears. You have to remember to manually remove the older/previous version whenever you update.

Hope the foregoing clarifies any misunderstanding......regards,
