Hi, PSI is currently giving me a rating of 98% as a result of a new version of Open Office (3.3.0) being available. When I take the option to fix the problem, whilst I see the latest US English version is indeed 3.3.0, the appropriate UK English version is still 3.2.1 - or is it me who has lost the plot? Any confirmation of the situation appreciated. Many thanks - eljay. |

Hello Eljay , Your assessment is quite correct . Version 3.2.1 is insecure as per SA 40775 and other later SA's reported therein :- http://secunia.com/advisories/40775/ If you can understand/bear with the American spellings , etc ., you would be well advised to update to the US version of 3.3.0 until the GB language version is released . Many language versions lag behind the public release date of "security" update versions ; unfortunately not everyone who uses OOo speaks English and are really hamstrung . Hope that is clear . Take care Anthony -- It always seems impossible until its done. Nelson Mandela |

Many thanks Anthony, appreciate your contribution and will go for the US upgrade for the time being. Best regards - Eljay. |
