In PSI 2 how do I submit programs? I do not see it in the FAQ or anywere else. I am assuming I am overlooking it.

Thank you.

SUGGESTING A NEW PROGRAMME TO SECUNIA

VERSION 2

1. From the DASHBOARD page click on RESULTS.
2. On the RESULTS page look above the tab INSTALL SOLUTION & U will see a green icon & ARE YOU MISSING A PROGRAM?
3. Click it. Fill out the details requested.
4. Click SUGGEST SOFTWARE.

ALL OLDER PSI VERSIONS

1. Open the PATCHED or SECURE BROWSING tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom where U will see a link in blue ink "Program Missing? Suggest It Here!"
3. Click the link & then fill out the details in the boxes that appear(the important bit is the FILE SELECTION).
4.Click Suggest Program.

Normally,Secunia do not respond to any request for programme inclusion nor do they accept programmes in Beta.

After a reasonable time lapse a full rescan of PSI should reveal the new programme.

Hello.
Hope the following info helps.

psi 2.0

1. On the Dashboard click on Results..
2. On the Results page just above Install Solution see Are you missing a program?
3. Click on it, and fill in the details.
4. Click Suggest Software

Beta/Dev versions are not accepted for monitoring

Extract :-
To submit software suggestions, first verify that all settings corrospond to those described in this item of our FAQ: http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal...

Then, please keep in mind that not all files can be used to detect software, and some executables will therefore be rejected by the Software Suggestion feature. The file will need to have version information attached to it - to verify if this is the case, right-click the file you want to suggest, and select Properties > Version.

The file needs to have a version number appropriate to the actually installed version either in the "File Version", "Product Version", or "Version" field (The field shown as "File Version" at the top of this tab. The second "file version" is another field).

Regards,

If all your problems are now resolved could U please lock (Accept) the thread. This will prevent us both from receiving update emails from "tag on" posts.

Mine problems using the "Suggest a Program" aren't fixed.

I tried to suggest several current programs that aren't listed in the PSI but was unable to input the executable name or anything in the first field, it was like it was locked.
I was able to fill-in all but the first field and of course I was unsuccessful in submitting because it tries to get the executables file info.
