I can't get bitdefender to load, and I have restarted more than once. Is there anything I can do?

My system is quad core 8200, 6 GB of ram, and vista 64 bit premium. I keep getting werfault.exe error messages, and I don't know if it is new windows updates, or a conflict between bitdefender 2011 and comodo. I reinstalled everything on a new hard drive, but it started all over again, and I cannot open any windows related programs. What do I do now?

I had to uninstall comodo and disable ms defender. ms defender kept bitdefender from loading, and comodo caused Werfault.exe Application errors for all microsoft programs, and ccleaner wouldn't open. Now that I deleted comodo, everything is running fine. I really liked comodo too! :(

@eburner1060
Glad you managed to untangle things for yourself. From my limited experience with security progs., it's best to find a good one and stick to it....else choppin' and changing can often set up oppositions.
Everybody has their own personal favourite...I use a paid-for suite.....but I did find that installing PCT's Threatfire with AVG has worked well together on my son-in-law's pc.
If the issue is now resolved ; as you are the originator of the thread, you have the option to close it, by selecting ACCEPT. This will lock the thread : preventing tag-on posts and reminder e mails......regards,

Does AVG stop all viruses? I had AVG, but it wouldn't let me uninstall it when I had a problem. I wonder if AVG will work with comodo, because I really like their firewall. I have threatfire also, along with malwarebytes, and no problems with them. I may drop bitdefender after the time period is up, and go back to AVG. Thanks for your help. :)
