This is a question to developers of PSI 2 Is there any chance of getting the program to scan/recognize beta or RC of browsers like Chrome 10/Firefox 4/ IE 9 Are there fundamental difficulties in doing so? |

To date PSI has never dealt with Beta Programs and and may show them as insecure. They have just recently caught up with IE9 RC and it is a recognized browser, Go To "Company" tab index "Contact us" for any further reply from Secunia. -- |

Hi , Due to constant evolution/revision of Chrome in particular and many/most other Alphas , Betas and RC's and therefore the problem of staying on top of vulnerabilities and changing platforms (Secunia do a detailed check of security problems before distributing a "Secunia Advisory") the PSI will not show them as such . In the case of Chrome Browser, the PSI displays "Google gears" for all (Stable , Beta , Dev Channel and Canary) versions ; on the "Results" page you see only the gears version number , but if you click the |+] to the left of the display you will see the file path and the version number is displayed therein . If you have Chrome Frame it will also display with it's version number in the gears expanded display . Silent updates or manual file deletion are usually recorded in real time by the PSI display in a pop up balloon over the PSI tray icon . Take care Anthony -- It always seems impossible until its done. Nelson Mandela |

@G>Fernandez I may stand corrected I found this: M.Hansen RE: Auslogics Disk Defrag ScreenSaver ( M. Hansen) Secunia Official 29th Mar, 2010 14:25 Score: 163 Posts: 327 User Since: 26th Jan 2009 System Score: N/A Location: Copenhagen, DK Hi mogs The suggestion from you was most likely empty due to lack of file information (We need for detection) I've downloaded the Auslogics Disk Defrag ScreenSaver and there is only 1 file that contains "some" file information, which is the uninstaller. This is not enough for us to be able to add it to our program database. ***[We will in most cases add software suggested to our database daily (not during weekends) If you have suggested software that is not being detected, try mailing us at support@secunia.com.]*** So, you can submit a program to Secunia -- |
