How do I exclude my d: drive from the scan.

Rule exclude d:\ does not have any effect.
What should I do?

All my old backup programs are on the D: drive and they show up as vulnerabilities and mask the real issues on drive C:.

Maybe "D:\windows\system32" would work (without quotes).

I don't see a setting for excluding a drive or partition either. So when the scan is finished and shows the vulnerable programs, click on the little icon with it that says Create Ignore Rule, for each of the old programs you want ignored.

Since they are old backed up programs and not installed in the current Program Files, they ought not be accessed by malware -- a Secunia security pro chime in if that is not correct please . . .

Excluding d:\ is correct syntax and works successfully on my scans.

The program does not seem to be reliable as it works for some users and not for others.
What confidence should we place in the detection process.

I have PSI 1.0.0.1 and XP home.
I have tried all the following rules seeking a general exclusion for programs on my backup drive.
i:\
I:\*.*
i:\*
i:/
none of them work.
I had to open all 50 files in the 'insecure' list and make a specific rule for those on my backup drive.
Now I still have another 25 entries to do in the 'end-of-life' list..??!
