Easy PC Cleaner 1.22 - Has anyone heard of this program? I am having a hard time getting Secunia to let me submit it. |

If U carry out this action what message do U get preventing a submission? The current stable version of PSI is 2.0.0.3001. If unsure which version U have right click on the Tasktray Icon & select About. The download link to update is here: http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal... SUGGESTING A NEW PROGRAMME TO SECUNIA VERSION 2 1. From the DASHBOARD page click on RESULTS. 2. On the RESULTS page look above the tab INSTALL SOLUTION & U will see a green icon & ARE YOU MISSING A PROGRAM? 3. Click it. Fill out the details requested. 4. Click SUGGEST SOFTWARE. ALL OLDER PSI VERSIONS 1. Open the PATCHED or SECURE BROWSING tab. 2. Scroll to the bottom where U will see a link in blue ink "Program Missing? Suggest It Here!" 3. Click the link & then fill out the details in the boxes that appear(the important bit is the FILE SELECTION). 4.Click Suggest Program. Normally,Secunia do not respond to any request for programme inclusion nor do they accept programmes in Beta. After a reasonable time lapse a full rescan of PSI should reveal the new programme. Hi , A quick websearch shows that the product is available Free at a great many download sites . Here , Softpedia also include a product review :- http://www.softpedia.com/reviews/windows/EasyClean... Please be aware that I do Not recommend the use of these types of utilities ; so Caveat Emptor . @ Anthony: Product you linked to (EasyCleaner 2.0.6.380 by Toni Arts) is not the product the OP referenced (Easy PC Cleaner 1.22 by easypctool). http://personal.inet.fi/business/toniarts/products... http://download.cnet.com/windows/easypctool/3260-2... http://www.easypctool.com/ Please be aware that I do Not recommend the use of these types of utilities ; so Caveat Emptor. That makes two of us. especially when the developer takes such great lengths to hide his/her/their identity. Thanks for the correction Jersy Devil ; whilst the Easy PC Cleaner 1.22 is widely listed at download sites , Toni Arts' programme was (and stillis) listed slap in the middle of my search results and I "chose it" without rechecking the details (duhh) because it was the Softpedia site and had a review . On rechecking (again) , you are quite correct concerning the limited data "Easypctool" provides concerning itself ; nothing positive nor negative as such other than it's short time in existence ; still you/everyone have to start somewhere . Not sure I would want to see such a product "cleaning up " for anyone without some serious analysis/testing by "experts" . Humble apologies to all .
