Adobe Cue is no longer used or supported by Adobe and recently my version of it in CS3 changed to Insecure in PSI. The rest of CS3 shows as up to date. I just did a search for a security notice to explain the vulnerability, but the latest for Cue was in 2007. Is there one somewhere? Thanks,

Hello.
I can find two Secunia Advisories with ref to Cue :-
http://secunia.com/advisories/product/4366/ Cue 1.x
http://secunia.com/advisories/product/14243/ Cue CS3

Neither of them show any vulnerabilities, when fully patched.
I'm not familiar with the program at all, but maybe if you provide the file path to the insecurity showing....someone will be able to help you further.

Finding the file path.

psi versions 1.5.0.1 and 1.5.0.2

Use the Advanced interface...or switch to it ( Simple/ Advanced..top right of psi panel ).

1/. Click on the + sign alongside the programme to expand it.
2/. Click again on Tech Details in the Toolbox to confirm the installation path of the detected file/prog. 3/.Post the Installation Path back to the forum if you are uncertain how best to proceed.

psi version 2.0

Go to Results from the Dashboard

1/. Click on the + sign alongside the file.
2/. This will reveal the file path.
3/. Post the info back to the forum if uncertain how best to proceed.

Hope the foregoing is of some help.......regards,

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS3\Server\bin\VersionCueCS3.exe, version 3.0.0.0

Install Solution link goes to http://www.adobe.com/products/adobedrive/

I wrote that the rest of CS3 is up to date. Actually, aside from Cue all of it is except for Photoshop, which shows as "end of life."

The last update on the Adobe website is from 2007.

http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp...

It does say 3.1.0 rather than 3.0.0.0, but Adobe file versions are not always reliable. I don't know why PSI has changed how it is reporting it.

Running update from withing any of the CS3 programs shows me up to date across the board.

To be sure, I just went to the Adobe Cue link and downloaded and installed the three Cue patches, all labeled 3.1.x. The result is that VersionCueCS3.exe, the file PSI points to, still shows as version 3.0.0.0. That suggests Adobe didn't update the numbers and Secunia didn't notice it either, leading to the Insecure. But why only now, when presumably it's been this way for quite some time (2007)?
