There has been some issues for a number of PSI users during the day. We are aware of the issue and are working on a solution. |

I'm glad to hear about that. I went on my computer today and noticed that in the system tray, the icon for Secunia PSI was red. I then opened Secunia PSI and saw no problems. However, when I ran a scan I got a report saying no programs had been detected, along with this message: "Error: TypeError Function: util.switchPage File: undefined Line: undefined Description: 'length' is null or not an object" I hope this problem will be resolved soon. Again, I'm glad to hear it's been acknowledged. |

Hi , i can also confirm that the PSI launched from a red tray icon is now showing as normal (100%) with a full programme display and the icon is green again . The reset was automatic and no manual scan was needed . South of France 1600 hrs CET . Anthony -- It always seems impossible until its done. Nelson Mandela |

The problem seems to be resolved. I opened the Secunia PSI console, it connected to the Internet without a problem, and the tray icon changed from red to green without having to do another scan. Located in the USA JOHN -- John S Twin Cities, MN |

UPDATE: We have made an interim solution and it has resolved the issue for now. We will be implementing a permanent solution. This will be done tomorrow morning European time and will last approx. 1 hour and affect up to half of the PSI users. |

Problem seems to be resolved. Deleted PSI 0800 EDT and re-installed. Left auto update swith on. Problem continued until I just noticed at 1000 EDT on the forum and the PSI program itself that all was well again. Green and 100%. Thanks to Secunia staff for a quick resolution. -- XP with SP3 Secunia PSI Malwarebytes |

A similar problem I have been experiencing: The tray icon is dimmed; I receive reports that a scan has found issues, I click the balloon and it disappears with no info. Secunia will not load from the Start menu. I have uninstalled, re-installed and have the same problem. Using IE9 on Windows XP SP3. |

Mab3915 Your problems are almost certainly related to IE. IE9 is not compatible with Windows XP - there is certainly no links available from Microsoft to download it so unsure how U managed to install it. http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/news/index.cfm?newsid=3... -- Maurice Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS HP Intel Pentium i7 IE 10 for Windows 7 16GB RAM |

mab3915 get away from IE and d/l mozilla firefox browser..should solve problem. IE is nothing but trouble..past experience. Firefox runs much smoother and auto d/l all updates needed to stay that way.

I have Firefox but unfortunately some of the programs I used daily do not run on Firefox. However, if Secunia will work on Firefox that should solved the problem at least temporarily.
