There is no scheduler for the scan. The scan runs automatically 7 days after the
last scan. The best you can do run a manual started scan at the time you prefer. It's then scheduled for the next week. However, personally I prefer to run a manual started scan at least twice a week. And it is important to run a
manual scan after the monthly (and other) Microsoft updates are installed.

Hello.
Secunia automatically scans, at seven day intervals....you can manually scan at anytime. Another scan will begin seven days hence from the last manual or automatic. So if you wish to schedule a scan in seven days time at midnight....you will need a late night ! Hope that explains/helps....good luck and regards....

@Leendert

I know this post is a bit "off base" Leendert....but I just noticed you're still running IE7.....Is there a particular reason for that ? There's so much "state of the art" about......have you thought of IE9 ?

The reason is that I'm confident with IE7 and up to now not familiar with IE8. However, I'm using Webmail and my provider tells me the Webmail isn't working
properly with IE9. Maybe I'm upgrading to IE8 some time.

Thanks Leendert......seems a good reason.....my memory won't seem to stretch back to IE7, tho' no unhappy memories....whereas IE8 never seemed to get close to Chrome. IE9 is a very different animal.....in some ways it's as minimalist or uncomplicated in appearances, and of course is a lot faster....except I've been "spoiled" by Dev and Canary outputs......which I too feel more confident with. The main thing is that all three don't conflict on my machine. Have a good evening....
