My PSI 99% of the time is green and100%.However there are a few occasions that show insecure programs when in fact the updates were done for several days. I rely on the program so only open it when the color code changes. What causes this and how can this be alleviated. Thks in advance.

Hello.
It is often the case that tho' you update progs....the previous/older version/file isn't always automatically removed....psi continues to detect it until it is removed.
Clicking on the + sign alongside the detected instance will reveal the file path to it which you can use to find/remove/uninstall.
Hope this helps.....regards,

Thks for replying mogs; however I already was aware. There was 4 insecurities for MS products, ie for example Windows 7, microsoft framework etc. I am not patient for wasting time so rescanned before I went further. When I went to uninstall page to do this and reinstall new version it did not react so back to secunia ,and, looking at my icon in the system tray it was green (that's the closest to multitasking I do In my ripe old age!) :) (Joke mogs, I admit, not a good one)Rescan was done Wed. but not necessary today.
Green is my favorite color at least on this site. Seriously though sometimes there must be a lag time. Good to hear from you though and do have a happy Easter.
OOPS! It's 0200 hrs. so signing off.

No, it's much too early for me to work at co-ordinates to try to work out where you're corresponding from.....the sun rises a bit later for you, will suffice for me this morning !! Haps I'll be a bit more with it at my age by mid day !! Ha!
