[i]Secunia shows I have a firefox 3.6. I know I installed Firefox 4. When updated by Secunia, it installed 4. I received this message: "Something is trying to trick Firefox into accepting an insecure update. Please contact your network provider and seek help." I thought you'd want to know. -- kashzka |

Nice to talk to U on Messenger. I think Anthony will need a little more information to help U. 1. OS means Operating System. I believe U have a new Apple Mac which is not supported by Secunia. I think your other new PC is Windows 7. There is no such OS as Vista 7. 2. To give him the version of PSI U are using U need to Right click on the Tasktray icon near the clock (it could be red or orange or green) and select about. That will show U a number like 2.0.0.3003 - that is the data he is looking for. 3.More details on how to find the path & version number of Firefox are here: FINDING A FILE PATH From the DASHBOARD page click on SCAN RESULTS. 1. This will list all your programmes with a + to the left of each one. 2. Click the + sign next to the item that U want help with. 3. This will reveal the path under DETECTED INSTANCES. 4. Highlight it then copy (CTRL+C) then paste (CTRL+V)) that path back to the Forum. Anthony is the best person to help U further so I will unsubscribe. Sorry about the edit. -- Maurice Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS HP Intel Pentium i7 IE 10 for Windows 7 16GB RAM |
