Message popped up at bottom of screen that caught my eye as strange and has me concerned. The messages of "Microsoft Build Engine (Zombie file)" I could not find any information on Google about and I am hoping someone here might be able to assist me in figuring out what this message means. The only software change performed between last logon and now was installation of software that came with my new Insignia 720p Digital Camcorder NS-DV720PBL2 from www.insigniaproducts.com. Not sure if this is related or not. Any changes to Microsoft Build to me sound like root kit etc if it wasn't a MS Update. Until i can figure out what this means I am not going to do any banking etc on this system.

Can you post the Troubleshoot Report from the Scan Results as explained here:

That would give is more to go on.

The Microsoft Build Engine is part of Visual Studio 2010.

Microsoft Build Engine was added to the database by error and was soon removed. This had the unfortunate effect of a pop-up from the Secunia PSI notifying the user of the change in detection. This issue is solved by now.
