Secunia detects an unpatched version of msxml6.dll in my Recovery partition. The main OS is up to date.
Is there any security risk from an as yet unused partition or should I set Secunia to ignore this program. If I do that will it ignore the correct version in Vista when checking future updates? It is an integral part of Vista so presumably Windows Updates will take care of future patches. Only version 4 shows in Control Panel and Belarc. |
