I have a problems trying to get rid of Adobe Acrobat SVG Viewer 2.x and it keeps showing up as unsecure, have looked thru program files and registry and cant find it to delete it any sugestions would be halpful. I show a 98 per cent secure and would like to see 100 per cent. The forum doesnt show anything as yet. I have done the download and restarted machine several times and also the PSI scan several times. Thanks Chester |

The Secunia PSI can always tell you exactly what it has detected and where it is. In many cases that will give you a clue to why the PSI is detecting what it is. To see the detected file you can always simply hover the cursor over its entry in the PSI. And if you use the advanced interface you can also expand the entries in the PSI and then use the buttons Technical details and Open Folder. If you have a program that do not show up in Ad/Remove Programs and do not seem possible to uninstall, you can contact the vendor of the program for advice. |

I received a response and did what they asked and it worked great, no more insecure warnings. Thanks to all Chester Heres what I did: went to the advanced tab and looked for the file, found it and then went to search from the menu and typed it in exactly as it was shown and hit find, it came back with one file. Highlighted it, right clicked and deleted it. restarted my machine ran scan and it was gone and no more notice of insecure item. Hope this helps . NOW 100 % clean Chester |
