When I tried to update Java, I got this. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Can U see those entries in Control Panel>add/remove? - if so uninstall them all.

If they are not there U have remnants of old programmes therefore navigate back to those entries - right click each one & select delete.

Whichever method U employ to remove them carry out a full PSI scan & all should be in order.

Hi ,

I think part of the problem lies in the "wrong" update link being provided by the PSI in the Trobleshoot report posted and as described in this thread :-

The correct link for the JDK update (posted in the linked thread) seems to be :-

The older/oldest version files will still need a manual delete .

Trust that is helpful .
