PSI shows 17 programs "insecure" now after they have been updated by MS, including: .Net Framework 2,3,4x, Excel 2010, Explorer 9.x (64 bit), SQL Server 2005, Silverlight 4x, Win 7, Sun Java 1.6.x / 6.x.
MS shows no updates necessary/available, so does Sun. What gives?
I guess I can just "ignore until your program "catches up" with updates?

Oh, Yes I did re-scan the HD's....

Hi

Did you restart your computer, and then performed a full scan with the Secunia PSI?

Yup, now I have 20 "insecure".....
MS still states "up to date" when any one is picked to "fix"....
Guess I just have to wait?

I hope the poster doesn't mind me adding to this post. I too have just powered up (11 pm UK time) and found 11 MS updates, along the lines of those listed in the first post. Secunia has scored 89% (although it's still shown as 100% on the left).

So I installed all the updates, restarted, rescanned but I still have the 11 showing as insecure.

Below is the report for Excel. The MS history shows that KB2541007 was installed Ill look for KB2541012 tomorrow.

Does this help you, Maurice?

PS I found tonight that the Secunia auto-update wasn't enabled. I've no idea why - I use it and I've not disabled it. So I re-enabled it, restarted my PC and will leave my PC switched on overnight to see if those auto-updates that are available have been done.

Hi Maurice. I'm fine thanks but busier than usual!

I've found KB2541012 - it's shown under the update for the 2007 Office System.

Just rescanned - now 97%. Just the usual culprits now - two Shockwave and one Flash. The latter should be aotu-updated by PSI so I'll check again in the morning.
Goodnight!

Password problem or I would have answered sooner!!...

Well, now have a 100% rating, nothing shows needing fixing!!!!! PTL Always

I have "prodded" several updates from MS (26 yesterday, 7 today).
I uninstalled PSI & reinstalled it later after the last batch of updates from MS.
I went through with Advanced Systems Care & "batch" deleted a number of "free" programs that I did not need (I enjoy playing with free ones to find good ones for my friends)

So, now the Icon is GREEN & I am going to create a new Image of the HD as well as a backup and a restore point!

I will let you know if it holds......

Good news. @Taffy078 appears to be saying exactly the same thing.
