From the first day that I installed VISTA Ultimate 64 I allways disable UAC + W.Defender.
I run also KIS 2009 v.8.0.0.506.
What is yr opinion???

My opinion is that you had better not disable UAC. UAC gives protection against not-wanted programs. Moreover for me it is a signal: The moment I feel irritation about interruptions it is time for me to have a break because I've been busy too intensive and on the point of loosing control about my machine. But of course you are free to do what you want.

And if a startup program gives you a UAC error (like PSI does), simply delete it from the Startup folder and set it to run with highest privileges using Task Scheduler...
