International Sales Associate, Nordic

Boost your salescareer in international sales in a fast growing global IT security company

As part of our continued hyper-growth, Secunia continuously seeks talented and dedicated sales people. If you have work experience within sales, knowledge of - or a keenness to learn - the IT security business, you now have a unique opportunity to join our highly successful direct sales team at the Copenhagen headquarters in Denmark.

You will be joining a dynamic and international inside sales team where you will be responsible for the very important first stages of the selling cycle. Your first main task in Secunia is to start up the sales process with Norwegian or Swedish prospects and demonstrate Secunias unique solution to them. You will evaluate the interest before handing the prospect on to a colleague, who in turn has the responsibility of negotiating and closing the deal, and is thus highly dependant on the quality of your work.

In this position you will be part of Secunia’s carefully selected talent pool, where you will be trained and coached to become a top sales performer, paving the way for your great future within sales.

Responsibilities
  • Approach Norwegian/Swedish corporations and initiate telephone contact with appropriate decision makers
  • Perform online demonstrations of the Secunia Corporate Software Inspector to prospects
  • Identify the prospect’s purchasing motives
  • Carry out research on potential prospects and update the CRM system
  • Actively participate in the on-going practical and theoretical sales training
  • Practice, update and increase your knowledge of sales techniques and the IT security industry
Qualifications
  • Good at creating rapport and inspiring confidence with prospects
  • Previous work experience with outbound business-to-business telephone sales with good results
  • Knowledge of, or a keenness to learn, the IT security business
  • Native level speaker of Norwegian. English is the corporate language. Danish is not a mandatory requirement
  • Eager to learn and develop your skills
  • A winner mentality and a ‘hunter’ salesperson by nature
  • Ambitious, competitive, tenacious and with a natural power of persuasion
  • Motivated by working in a performance-oriented environment
