Copenhagen, Denmark – 30 April, 2013 - Secunia, leading provider of IT security solutions that help businesses and private individuals manage and control vulnerability threats, today announced the appointment of Morten R. Stengaard as CTO.
Morten R. Stengaard joined Secunia in March 2011, and since November 2011 has been the Director of Product Development and Quality Assurance.
With his appointment as CTO, Morten R. Stengaard becomes responsible for the Secunia Product Group: Research, Product Development, Product Management, Quality Assurance and IT Operations.
Lead by Stengaard, the Product Group will continue to evolve and adapt to market needs, continuously strengthening Secunia’s position as a world-leader in the vulnerability assessment and patch management field.

About Morten R. Stengaard: Prior to taking on the role of CTO at Secunia, Morten R. Stengaard has been responsible for Secunia’s product management and QA function, defining Secunia’s product roadmap and ensuring that it is both commercially- and market-driven. Before joining Secunia, Morten R. Stengaard worked as Product Manager for the security software company BullGuard Ltd, and as Business Development Manager for the investment company Kukula Capital. He also co-founded a market analysis consultancy firm. Morten holds a B.Sc. in International Business (IB) and a M.Sc. in Finance & Strategic Management (FSM), both from Copenhagen Business School (CBS).
