Online Trust Alliance Recognizes Company’s Commitment to Enhancing Consumer Online Trust and Confidence
COPENHAGEN, Denmark – October 20, 2011- Secunia, the leading provider of Vulnerability Intelligence and Vulnerability Management tools, today announced that the Online Trust Alliance (OTA) has named Secunia as the 2011 Online Trust Leadership Award winner for Excellence in Consumer Protection. The award was presented to Secunia at the OTA’s 2011 Forum Awards ceremony, the culminating event to the organization’s sixth annual Online Trust Forum conference, held in Washington, D.C. earlier this week.

Secunia was selected among 200 nominations for its focus and success in advancing consumer trust through safety innovations, consumer choice and control of online activities. The company’s flagship consumer offering, the highly acclaimed Secunia Personal Software Inspector (PSI), is accredited to the company’s selection for its superior ability to provide online security for private individuals. Secunia PSI is a free security tool in use by more than 4.3 million private users across the world.
