Secunia offers a full time position where your daily work will be analysing and verifying vulnerability reports by e.g. auditing source code, testing available PoCs and exploits, and debugging programs.
You should be strong in one or preferably more of the following programming languages: C/C++, Perl, Python, PHP. Furthermore, you should have a good understanding of vulnerabilities and how to exploit them, operating system concepts and security models, and network protocols.
You will be working in a team with other highly skilled security researchers and developers, who all are happy to share their knowledge and experience about vulnerabilities, exploitation, and programming.
The most important part of the job is to analyse and verify vulnerability reports. Based on the conclusions during the verification process, it is your responsibility to assess the vulnerability and write a corresponding Secunia Advisory, which will be sent to our customers and published on the Secunia website.
