3) Description of Vulnerability
Secunia Research has discovered a vulnerability in jetAudio, which
can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when creating
the "tooltip" display string using ID Tag information retrieved from
an audio file (e.g. WMA). This can be exploited to cause a stack-based
buffer overflow and allows arbitrary code execution via a specially
crafted WMA file with overly long ID Tag values (e.g. "Title",
"Author" or "Album").
Successful exploitation requires that the malicious file is opened
when the sound card driver is disabled or not properly installed.

4) Solution
A fix is not currently available.
Ensure that the sound card is working properly before attempting to
play untrusted files.
