4) Description of Vulnerability
Secunia Research has discovered a vulnerability in XnView, which can
be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing
the "FontName" parameter of slideshow files (*.sld). This can be
exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow by e.g. tricking a
user into opening a specially crafted slideshow file with an overly
long "FontName" parameter.
Successful exploitation allows the execution of arbitrary code.
