4) Description of Vulnerability
Secunia Research has discovered a vulnerability in various Panda
products, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain
escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused by a boundary error in the APPFLT.SYS
driver when parsing input data for certain IOCTLs (e.g. 6660C8Ch,
6660C94h, 6660C98h, 6660CB0h, 6660CB4h, and 6660CB8h). This can be
exploited to cause a buffer overflow via specially crafted input data
containing an overly long string.

5) Solution
Apply hotfixes available from Panda Security.
