4) Description of Vulnerability
Secunia Research has discovered some vulnerabilities in various Panda
products, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a
DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerabilities are caused by array-indexing errors in the
APPFLT.SYS driver when parsing input data for certain IOCTLs (e.g.
6660C8Ch, 6660C94h, 6660C98h, 6660CB0h, 6660CB4h, and 6660CB8h). This
can be exploited to trigger an access violation when attempting to
read data from an invalid memory address.
Successful exploitation causes the system to restart.
