4) Description of Vulnerability

Secunia Research has discovered a vulnerability in various Panda 
products, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain 
escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused by missing input validation in the 
APPFLT.SYS driver when processing the 6660E18h IOCTL. This can be 
exploited to e.g. write data to a semi-arbitrary virtual memory 
address.
