4) Description of Vulnerability
Secunia Research has discovered multiple vulnerabilities in Pligg CMS,
which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site
scripting attacks.
1) Input passed to the "user" and "page" parameters in
admin/admin_comments.php and admin/admin_links.php is not properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited
to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser
session in context of an affected site.
2) Input passed to the "list" parameter in admin/admin_index.php
(when "action" is set to "move" or "minimize") is not properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited
to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser
session in context of an affected site.
3) Input passed to the "karma_username" POST parameter in module.php
(when "module" is set to "karma" , "submit" is set to "Submit", and
"karma_value" is set) is not properly sanitised in
modules/karma/karma_main.php before being returned to the user. This
can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.
