Description:
This Trojan may be downloaded from remote sites by other malware. It may also be dropped by other malware.
When executed, it drops a non-malicious file on the system's Desktop. It then creates a certain registry key as part of its installation routine. It also modifies registry entries to lower the settings of the Internet Security Zone, allowing unsecured download of files to the affected system.
This Trojan accesses a certain Web site to download file, which Trend Micro detects as MAL_BANKER. As a result, malicious routines of the downloaded files are exhibited on the affected system.
While downloading the file, it displays the following Graphical User Interface (GUI) window:
