System Requirements:

The Secunia CSI Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager (SC2012) plugin enables you to easily create and deploy packages for third-party (non-Microsoft) updates using the Secunia Package System (SPS) directly from the System Center 2012 console.

The Secunia SC2012 plugin runs only through the Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager console and does not start on its own. It requires a Secunia CSI account that is purchased separately.

Release history

Version 1.5.0.2017 (Maintenance release, 2nd May 2013)

The primary changes are:

  • Scan folder: You can use the Scan folder to configure the Secunia SC2012 Plugin, scan devices and view hosts connected to the upstream System Center 2012 Configuration Manager.
  • Schedule folder: You can use the Schedule folder to define the schedule for importing System Center 2012 Configuration Manager scan data and to add/remove hosts to be scanned. The schedule is executed by the Secunia Daemon with credentials provided during the installation of the Daemon.
  • Secunia Daemon: The Secunia Daemon is a stand-alone executable that executes the import schedules configured in the Secunia CSI or System Center 2012 Configuration Manager console. It runs as a background service with no user interaction.
  • Device Overview: You can right-click a host and select Device Overview to view the scan result for that particular host. You can also right-click a host in the Devices folder and select Secunia Scan Details to view the scan result for that particular host.
  • Various: In addition to the above, a number of minor bug fixes and enhancements have been completed.

Version 1.0.0.1 (Final release, 1st November 2012)
