The list of requirements that must be met for the Secunia PSI to function correctly are:
To install and run the Secunia PSI you require administrative privileges.
Access to Secunia's encrypted servers via SSL (https://psi.secunia.com:443/) and access to Microsoft Windows Update servers, see also Software Requirements below
The latest version of Microsoft Update. You can determine whether or not you are running the latest version by visiting
with Microsoft Internet Explorer, while logged in as the Administrator. If you are able to check your system for missing updates through this tool, your system should function properly with the Secunia PSI.
There are no additional hardware requirements. If your computer runs any of the above mentioned Operating Systems, then Secunia PSI should work.

This is an update to the Secunia PSI 2.0 Beta (1.9.0.3) released on 1st September 2010.
Most the of the changes in this release are based directly on user feedback and ideas collected during the first 4 weeks of of the Secunia PSI 2.0 Beta. Secunia would like to thank the many thousands of users who have participated in the beta so far and sent in the great feedback.

This is primarily a service release, which is a recommended update for all existing Secunia PSI users. Existing Secunia PSI users will also be notified about this release through the Secunia PSI.

This is a language release. If you are running Secunia PSI 1.5.0.0 without problems then there's no need to upgrade. Please note. Certain languages are not available for the installation process, but only in the Secunia PSI itself.
Version 1.5.0.0 (24th June 2009)
This is a major release, which includes many new features, improvements, and changes that significantly improve the Secunia PSI. We recommend all Secunia PSI users to upgrade. Please also read our blog regarding this release.
