A vulnerability has been discovered in Brava! Reader, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to the application installing a version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable, which loads libraries (e.g. dwmapi.dll) in an insecure manner. This can be exploited to load arbitrary libraries by tricking a user into e.g. opening an IGC Content Sealed Format (.csf) file located on a remote WebDAV or SMB share.
