Description


Code Audit Labs has reported a vulnerability in Xunlei Thunder, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to the application loading unspecified libraries in an insecure manner. This can be exploited to load arbitrary libraries by tricking a user into opening an unspecified file located on a remote WebDAV or SMB share.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is reported in version 7.2.5.3364. Other versions may also be affected.


Solution:
Reportedly fixed in the latest version 7.2.7.3492.
