Which version was working before you installed 3.0.0.8013 & then reverted to 3.0.0.7011?

Which OS are you using?

Can you explain what you mean by will not start - Are you cancelling the script for example?

What does the PSI log file tell you?

Not sure which version was running before 8013 and then downgrading to 7011.

Thank you.

Is it not the same issue you had here?

https://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/82...

Have you tried that fix again?

No, that's not the same problem; different error message and PSI attempts to start without any problem. It just gets the script error and then does nothing else whether I stop the script or not.

Thought I'd try to install the version listed on that email but it must be locked or something because even though FF thinks it has downloaded the file it does not. Either that or the download from that link is 7011 which I have loaded now.

I would give version 2 a try which is still supported.

If you want to try click this link:

http://secunia.com/PSI2Setup.exe

Let it run - it will auto remove the version installed before installing version 2.

Here's the error message I get:

"Stop running this script?

A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive.

Yes No"

Whether I click Yes or No, nothing else happens, even if I let PSI run for a couple of hours while I'm at lunch or something. I'm looking for version 3 earlier than 7011. Does anyone have a link?

Where exactly are you telling us to look & download?

On the page you gave only 3.0.0.8013/2.0.0.4003 & 1.5.0.2 are downloadable.

Are you referring to the Change log on the left hand side of the page you point to? They are not download links nor can you copy or paste.

Can you explain a bit more where users can download any version of PSI after 1.5.0.2?

Click on link & then simply scroll down
to the version you want to install. No need to
uninstall the 'old' version as the 'new' version
installer will take care of this for you before it
installs the version you picked to install.
Most all versions of the PSI are available-not
sure about versions earlier than 1.5.0.2 being
supported but from that version forward they
are.

Hope this helps & good luck.

Regards, wr

EDIT: Sorry meant to say copy & paste not click on link.

Copying and pasting the link gives a nice listing of all versions but doesn't seem to provide a way to download an older version. Can you give us more help?

Has anyone found a link to a more stable version 3? 3.0.0.7011 gives me the same problem as 8013 so basically I haven't had PSI for about a week or 10 days. WR's listing is nice but no way to download.

Has anyone contacted Secunia directly with this issue?

PSI 3.0.0.8013 appears not to be working very well with any variant of Windows.

The same cannot be said for version 3.0.0.7011. On my test PC's it works very well on XP SP3/Windows 7 SPI with IE 11 Pre release & Windows 8 IE10.

I would advise you to join this thread which is the only other user currently reporting issues with 3.0.0.7011.

https://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/14...

That user may answer your question whether Secunia has been contacted about your issue & compare notes.

My intention is to lock this thread shortly & ultimately I will delete it once Secunia issue a statement on PSI 3.0.0.8013 or respond to this thread:
