Hello,

I long ago subscribed to email alerts from Secunia for Security Advisories and regularly had emails each day but these stopped at the end of last year and I can't figure out how to start them again. I keep going around in circles on this site. Can someone point me to where I should go to subscribe to daily alerts?

Thanks,
Stephen.

Stephen,
Secunia recently changed User Profiles as can be seen here.

https://1ncuig.bn1.livefilestore.com/y2pqFlMwV9meh...

It no-longer allows us to receive vulnerability reports as & when they are released.

Sadly this bit of vandalism by Secunia was never publicly disclosed to users.

Hi,

As Maurice mentioned, the Advisories mailing list has been changed.

Now you can sign up for a weekly vulnerability summary at the profile page:

Bit of a step backwards isn't it? Instant -> Weekly?

Is there an RSS Feed of Advisories?

Hi Stephen,

There is currently RSS feed for our advisories.
Getting instant notifications requires a VIM account:

Hi again,

Sorry, I mistyped.

My previous reply should have been:

There is currently no RSS feed for our advisories.
Getting instant notifications requires a VIM account:
http://secunia.com/vulnerability_intelligence/

Sorry for the confusion.

There is a work around that I have tested which still gives a timely overview of new advisories issued by Secunia.

I have added this URL to my existing Change Detection notifications.

https://secunia.com/community/advisories/historic/

Details of Change Detection are here:

http://www.changedetection.com/

In this instance, not as good as an RSS feed or the old method withdrawn by Secunia but ........
