I have an XP system with PSI 2.0.0.3001. When I boot and login, the PSI tray icon is missing.

Using Windows Task Manager, I verify that psi_tray.exe has started and is running.

I have verified that the "Hide inactive icons" feature of the taskbar is disabled.

If I kill psi_tray.exe with process monitor, and then perform Start, Programs, Startup, Secunia PSI Tray, the tray icon appears.

Or, if I log off and log back in, the tray icon appears.

But when I reboot and login, the tray icon is missing.

Using the Add & Remove Programs control panel, I removed PSI. I then went to http://secunia.com/PSISetup.exe, downloaded, and reinstalled. After installation, the tray icon appears.

But again, when I reboot and login, the tray icon is missing.

Cheers,

MetaEd
